This Year's Theme is 'Trash to Treasure'

We invite you and your students to explore the concept of recycling through art and create unique masterpieces using materials that would typically end up in the bin. Let your imagination soar as you transform waste into something beautiful and thought-provoking.

The winning class can look forward to a Bioplastic Sand & Water Set

Your little explorers will have all manner of fun in the sand with this variety set of 50 tools, from buckets to spades and watering cans! The set is made from sugarcane and is 100% recyclable and renewable, helping to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet.

This Year's Prize is a Bioplastic Sand & Water Set from Hope Education worth £162

Your little explorers will have all manner of fun in the sand with this variety set of 50 tools, from buckets to spades and watering cans! This set is made from sugarcane and is 100% recyclable and renewable, helping to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet.

The winner will also receive a goodie bag from our TP Tokens charity Kids Against Plastic, including a t-shirt, a tote bag, a signed 'Be Plastic Clever' book and their stationery.

Competition Guidelines

1. Get Creative

Each participating classroom must create a single artwork of their choice. The artwork should prominently feature materials that would otherwise be thrown away (cardboard, plastic lids, containers, empty toilet rolls, newspapers, egg cartons, etc.).

2. Think Outside the Box

Encourage your students to think outside the box and experiment with various art forms such as painting, sculpture, collage, or mixed media. The more innovative and unique the approach, the better!

3. Submit the Artwork

Artworks must be submitted in digital format. You should capture a high-resolution photograph and submit it through our online submission form at the top of this page.
